At the end of 2017, I decided I needed to invest an endurable amount of time into skills and desires I’ve left mostly dormant or silenced into submission pursuing the thrill of working on the big movies, a good paycheck, and a mostly flippant and nomadic lifestyle I still very much approve of.
So at the start of this new year, I’ve decided to give myself a challenge. 365 days. A promise to cultivate a library of beloved contemporary artists, to become prolific in my artwork and emerge finally as an entity with considerable control over her pen, her hand, and her mind. To the will of no man/woman/ and or small child.
But to start with, some amazing sights at The Valley of Fire for the new year. I’m new to Nevada, and I’m here because there’s not a tempting enough square feet per dollar ratio in LA for the spiritual realignment I’ve decided I’m on. I wasn’t expecting this though. This was amazing.
Complimentary colors. They told us it was criminal to place blue and orange in a palette in elementary school. I hadn’t seen Star Wars then.
